What will prepare me to become an actuary?

Your next step to start your journey to the profession is to enrol in an actuarial degree at university. You'll be expected to have undertaken specialist or extension maths in high school, with some universities requiring extension or specialist level subjects to receive an offer.

Communication in business is vital, so invest time in your English studies.

During your university studies, we encourage you to undertake internships and work experience related to the profession to give you an advantage in gaining full-time permanent opportunities after graduation.
